Forecast Houston is the definitive portal for Greater Houston's weather and climate — built to make the official National Weather Service forecast fast, clean, and highway-clear across the eight-county metro, from The Woodlands and Conroe down through Houston to Galveston and the Gulf.
Houston's weather is Gulf-coast extreme: hurricane season and storm surge on Galveston Bay, the flash flooding of the bayous and the epic rains of a stalled tropical system, brutal summer heat and humidity, and the spring severe storms. Forecast Houston is being built to tell that story — county by county, freeway by freeway.
The look borrows from the American Interstate system — the reflective paper, the green guide signs, the blue service signs, the brown recreation signs, and the red-white-and-blue route shields — set in Overpass.
